Mountain Music

Mountain Music LIFE is a volunteer group of our organ students.  The mission of LIFE is to use music to make an impact on our community.  We do this by playing for service organizations, churches, senior centers, nursing homes and more!  We also raise money for charitable organizations, locally and nationally.  If you would like our group to play music for you, or you would like us to help with your favorite charity, let us know!  We love to help in any way we can!

Our Current Cause 

Kids Need Music!  

Support The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation

From now until June 15, 2008, Mountain Music LIFE will be raising money for The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation. 

As school music programs continue to be cut due to mandate, budget cuts, facility and time issues, fewer instruments and music programs are available.  The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation, founded by the composer of the film Mr. Holland's Opus,  has helped 746 music programs and many individual students, plus 103 schools in 6 states affected by Hurricane Katrina. 

Our LIFE group will be raising money for the Foundation, and all donations are tax deductible!  Any donation is welcome, and all donations over $10 will receive a "Kids Need Music" bracelet! 

In addition, Mountain Music will donate a portion of all sales through June 15, 2008, to the Foundation!
